Julien Cors sucessfully completed his masters thesis entitled “compact microfluidic probe.” Julien was registered in the Biomedical Engineering masters program at ETH-Z with Prof. Andreas Stemmer as the academic supervisor.
Marios Georgiadis obtained the ETH Medal in 2012 for his outstanding master thesis titled “Microfluidic probe for local staining of tissue sections.” Work performed as part of this thesis laid the foundation for a focused activity at IBM Research – Zurich on new technologies for tissue-based diagnostics in pathology. Marios was registered in the Biomedical Engineering masters program at ETH. His thesis was done in the Nanofabrication group at IBM Research – Zurich and with Professor Andreas Stemmer as his academic supervisor.
